Hello! Thank you for visiting our blog "Ladybird & Fellow!" We are a small family of 4 living the dream in Portland, Oregon. We created this blog so that we could record all of our family adventures, and to also inform you that you are not alone when it comes to the struggles/ joys/ tears/ fears/ hair-pulling/ crazy/ stressful/ smiley/ happiest moments of parenthood!
We've been through it all, so on top of fun kiddie stuff, we also wanted to include real struggles and joys of being a young family just trying to get through the day. Who are we kidding? The hour :)
Our children are Paetyn (7 years old) and Maddux (5 years), along with our furry kids: Meg (Dalmatian) and Tonka (Jack Russel Terrier) and Oreo ( the hamster).
Just so you know, here are 10 real truths about us:
1. Our house is never clean. Ever.
2. Lindsay doesn't cook. Ever. But she is committed to try with our new blog adventure.
3. Jeremiah can't seem to get his clothes in the hamper.
4. Paetyn is sassy and loud (no perfect child here). But, we love her just the way she is!
5. Maddux is a puzzle-master. He can do a 100-piece puzzle in 5 minutes flat!
6. We struggle every day. However, at the end of the day we can always give each other a high-five that we at least got the kids out of bed, hopefully dressed, fed, and back into bed at night time. Beyond that, its a bonus!
7. The dogs are terrors. They would probably run away if we gave them the chance.
8. We have a lot of hobbies that include thrifting and painting furniture.
9. We both have great full-time jobs (other than parenting).
10. We love our life and wouldn't have it any other way!
