Hello lovelies! We hope that you had a great long 4th of July weekend! We had a great time filled with food, projects, and the occasional tear (and I am not talking about the kids)...more of that to come.
We made some trips to the park...

P and dad working on their swings (P got a shiny new set of clubs a few weeks ago)...
and of course some firework fun with friends...
went on a date,
cleaned out the garage,
got 3 pieces of furniture done,
watched 3 new movies,
took some naps,
had some friends over,
and finally my 3-layer 4th of July cake...
This is where the tears come in. I don't want to talk about it.
