When the kids were away last week I was able to stop by a few thrift stores on my way home from work and came across this random little beauty. It is a glass dome lamp base with an industrial instrument inside that "moves" when the light is turned on. Maddux loves to switch on and off the light switch on the wall that we plugged into the lamp and run back to lamp to see the meters move and sway back and forth. It has provided at least 2 hours of entertainment.
I found it for $19.99 and I love the funky things that I come across and this takes the cake.
I just need to find the right shade and presto...fun item with a fun story for the house. Love finds like that :)
